Hello…and thank you for visiting our website

It’s great that you decided to have a look around our website. There’s lots of useful information here, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, go to ‘About Us’ on the menu bar, click on ‘Contact Us’, and let us know what you can’t find and we’ll get back to you.

We’re meeting every Sunday at 11am (meeting all Goverment guidelines) and you can also watch the service ‘live’ (or at a later time/date) on our YouTube channel (CLMormskirk).

If you’re new to the area, or to the Church, let us know who you are and we’ll be in touch.

This Sunday (16th May) at CLM

It’s Sunday again! We meet at 11am for the last in our series on the Gospel of Mark. Paul is leading; Neil and Lynn will be doing another fantastic dramatised reading from chapters 14-16. Then Marion will bring our journey through Mark’s record of the life of Jesus to a close. The good news is that God has come to us in Jesus Christ and invites us to share in his kingdom. As the Gospel of Mark finishes, this good news starts to spread across the world… Please do come and join us if you can.

All Government requirements for a church meeting are complied with.

If you want to follow the service online, it will be streamed live at 11am – do say hello in the chat if you join us! Or you can find it later on our YouTube channel. Both live stream and the later recorded version are available here:

today at CLM ….

A great start to the series on the Gospel of Mark with a dramatised Bible reading from Neil and Lyn, Rog leading us, and Luke speaking on the first four chapters. Thanks for all your hard work everyone. Be great if you could join us next Sunday at 11am.

This Sunday ….18th April 2021

This Sunday we start an action-packed, fast-moving journey through the gospel of Mark. Join us – in person at 11am CLM or on YouTube live stream or catch up – for the first in a 5 episode biopic of the most influential person in history – Jesus of Nazareth.

If you’d like your own copy of the script we’ll be using – the Contemporary English Version of Mark’s gospel – DM us and we’ll get a specially produced booklet to you 🙂

All Government requirements are met and masks are compulsory

Joint Service with ‘Salt & Light’ churches

On Sunday 11th April 2021 we will be joining a live stream service with other ‘Salt & Light’ churches in this region. We will still meet at the Church or you can view via YouTube and it will be retransmitted on our own service page as usual. CLM has been part of the ‘Salt & Light’ network of churches in our region for a couple of years, and this will be another opportunity to be part of a network that is bigger than just us on our own.

If you’re interested in learning more about what the ‘Salt & Light’ Family of churches is about, please click here.

Easter Sunday – car park praise!

With the modifications in government guidelines, we are now given the option to sing on church premises outside. So… this Sunday we are going to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection in song on our car park. This may not quite be “sing like never before” but after months of quiet humming or mouthing along to words behind masks, to be able to belt out some songs together in praise of God will be a welcome change!

Our service will start at 11am as usual with about half an hour of songs on the car park led by Rog. All who wish to are welcome to join us, respecting social distancing and “the rule of 6”. Our building will also be open for those who prefer to join in from inside. (Face coverings must be worn at all times in the building and we request that those inside do not sing.) Following this time we will continue inside our building with a message from Paul on what Easter means for us. The service will also be streamed live on our YouTube channel as usual.

Please note, this means that the car park will be closed to all vehicles – please use the mushroom farm car park opposite (NOT in the access road – please continue up the access road and park in the car park itself opposite the farm buildings).

Let’s celebrate together what Easter is about as Jesus came back to life!
